characteristics
A bushy perennial covered with masses of small, daisy-like, white flowers (infrequently blue or pink). Provides a profusion of blooms in late summer to early fall. Also known as heath aster.
This plant can take care of itself; it is one of about 25 growing wild in the vicinity. Reseeds readily.
