characteristics

A coarse, bushy annual or short-lived perennial with multiple branched stems. Both stems and leaves are hairy. Tiny yellow flowers are easily overlooked because of profuse foliage. Unlike most cinquefoils it has three leaflets rather than the usual five. It is also not a shrub. Can be weedy.
A member of the rose family. Also known as Norwegian cinqefoil.
